But we want to challenge you to sacrifice and give in other ways besides your money. Derek Webb, in his song "Rich Young Ruler," prophetically says of Jesus,

"he says, more than just your cash and coin
I want your time, I want your voice
I want the things you just can't give me"

Maybe God wants you to spend time creating art that advocates for the oppressed, or to start a DTJ campus chapter, or to sell something you don't need and give that money directly to a ministry in a country God has placed on your heart, or pray for children at-risk every morning. We know he wants obedience more than sacrifice, so we urge you above all else to continue giving your heart to Him.

Discover The Journey volunteers travel great distances to bring back the stories of the suffering and oppressed. If you have extra miles on any of the major carriers, consider donating them to us!

Though one doesn't need to travel far to find injustice, there are situations of suffering that merit travel over great distances. If you have accrued any amount of Airline miles with any of the major qualifying domestic or international airline carriers, please consider giving your miles to DTJ.
