Licensing Footage from DTJ

Discover The Journey has amassed a voluminous archive of footage from around the world. We have filmed in over 50 nations worldwide and are launching an initiative to license selected footage to empower others to tell stories while further enabling DTJ's work of telling stories of children in-crisis in the future. Every second you license helps fuel our quest to speak up for children experiencing injustice globally.

Nearly all of DTJ's footage is HD quality. It is stylistic, creative, journalistic and visually intense. Our archive features some of the most pressing social injustices of our time including orphans, street children, the world water crisis, modern-day slavery, HIV/AIDS, displacement, extreme poverty, child soldiers, food insecurity, and conflict--all with unecquivocal access. Contextually it includes imagery of war and conflict areas, international travel, beautiful scenery, heart-grabbing situations of suffering, and hopeful imagery of life, children and smiles and the joy that is represented around the world despite such injustice. We have filmed organizations working to combat these injustices through, agricultural initiatives, relief and development, peacemaking and conflict resolution, poverty alleviation, food distribution and water filtration.

All footage is made available with the dignity and protection of the people and nations who are subjects in the footage kept at the forefront as well as our strict child protection policy. We are interested in partnering with people/organizations/groups/productions that will maintain this commitment.
