Haiti [Earthquake]

  • US Military supply plane bound for Haiti.
  • Spanish rescue and recovery teams board a flight out of the Santo Domingo to Haiti.

  • Boarding the plane which took us to Haiti. The flight was sponsored by the Spanish government.

  • Red bag full of medical supplies we were able to take in to Haiti. A small part, but so meaningful to those who benefit from it.
  • Aid worker Lindsay Branham with Food for the Hungry (www.fh.org) gets much needed sleep en route prior to landing.
  • US Aircraft carrier Carl Vinson arrived earlier in the morning prior to our landing in Haiti carrying 19 helicopters, water-purification equipment, 300 military personnel and 3 surgical operating rooms.

  • We amassed under the plane waiting for our contacts to arrive.
  • Rescue and recovery workers preparing to leave the airport after our plane's arrival.
